Marshawn Terrell Lynch (born April 22, 1986) is an American football that ran back for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He was composed by Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft after playing college football at the University of California at Berkeley, where he became the second career rusher of all-time school. As a Seattle Seahawks member, he won the Super Bowl XLVIII against the Denver Broncos. Having initially retired after the 2015 season, Lynch applied for a recovery and was traded to Raiders in April 2017. Lynch earned the nickname "Beast Mode" because of his strong running style and consistent ability to overcome the defenders and break the tackle.

In addition to soccer, Lynch excels in track and field, where he competes primarily as a sprinter, but also in jumping events. He recorded a personal best time of 10.94 seconds in a 100 meter run as a senior, while also recording a 1.94 meter (6 feet, 4 inches) top jump in the high jump and 6.38 meters (20 feet, 10 inches) in the long jump.
Lynch is a versatile athlete on the soccer field. He plays defensive back and also plays several quarterbacks, wide receivers, and linebackers in high school. The hiring network Rivals.com ranked him # 2 in his country back behind Adrian Peterson.
College career
Lynch attended the University of California, Berkeley, and played for the California Golden Bears football team. He majored in social welfare. Lynch dubbed "Money" in college.
As a true freshman in 2004, Lynch was a major backup for senior J. J. Arrington. Lynch brought the ball 71 times to 628 yards with eight touchdown rushes and 147 yards at 19 receptions and two goals that were received.
In 2005, Arrington graduated and Lynch started running again. Although he missed two games with hand and finger injuries, he still collected 1,246 meters with 10 goals at 196 outlets and 125 yards at 15 receptions. At the Las Vegas Bowl 2005, Lynch ran as far as 194 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carry and was named MVP.

Lynch was also named the Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year 2006 and AFCA (Coach ') All-America in 2006.
In his last game for Cal, Lynch ran as far as 111 yards and two goals against Texas A & amp; M at the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl on December 28, 2006. Buffalo Bills
2007 season
On April 28, 2007, Lynch was selected by Buffalo Bills by selecting the 12th overall in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He again ran for election that year. He agreed with Bills for a six-year contract, $ 18,935 million. The deal includes a signing bonus of $ 3 million and contains a total security of $ 10,285 million.

Lynch is expected to be more involved in Buffalo's passing game in 2008, his second season as a professional. The new Bills offensive coordinator, Turk Schonert, has stated several times that he anticipates Lynch "being ranked third more" this season, due to Lynch's experience as the reason he was not so involved in the 2007 season.
2008 season
Lynch started the 2008 season with four rushing touchdowns in his first three games. He was held in a 16-yard low season rushing in Sunday's 9th game against the New York Jets on 2 November. He did not break the 100 meters rushing in the match until Nov. 17 in the Monday Night Football game against the Cleveland Browns, as he rushed for 119. The match also marked his first receiving goal. Two weeks later on Nov. 30, Lynch booked a swift 134 yards rushing against the San Francisco 49ers. Lynch surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the season on 14 December in a rematch against the Jets as he rushed for 127 yards. He can stay healthy to injure his shoulders in the second half of Bills victory on December 21 against the Denver Broncos, where he rushed for his eighth goal of the season. The injury kept him out of the Bills season finals against the New England Patriots. Lynch completed the 2008 season with 1,036 meters rushing and eight rushing touchdowns. He posted 300 receiving yards at 47 receptions, including a recipient touchdown, compared to 184 meters at 18 receptions for the 2007 season. 2009 season
After a plea guilty of alleged minor infringement of weapons during the 2009 offseason, Lynch met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for a disciplinary hearing. Lynch was arrested in Culver City, California, having a pistol in his rucksack in the trunk of the car he occupied, a crime in California. On April 9, the NFL announced that Lynch would be suspended for the first three Bills games for violation of NFL's personal behavior policy. Lynch appealed the league's suspension on 14 May in an attempt to reduce or cancel it, only for that to be upheld by Goodell on 3 August. When interviewed on the topic, Lynch said that he is not surprised when the suspension is upheld and that he likes to play too much and will try to distance himself from situations where there is a risk of being suspended.

Lynch then reunited with former Cal's roommate and fellow return Justin Forsett, draft pick seven from Seahawks in 2008. Lynch scored his first goal of the season and with Seahawks on October 17 on a 1-yard run against Chicago Bear. On 5 December, he scored three goals against the Carolina Panthers.
In his first career playoff game on January 8, 2011, against New Orleans Saints, Lynch did a 67-yard touchdown in which he broke nine tackles and with one arm threw Saints Cornerback Tracy Porter to the ground. This run has been known locally in Seattle as "Beast Quake". The drama gets its name from the nickname Marshawn Lynch, "Beast Mode", and the fact that, during and after the play, the movements of fans jumped in celebration so strongly that it was listed on the seismograph 100 meters from the stadium. 2011 season
Lynch started 15 games, losing just one regular season game on 23 November 2011, due to back problems. Lynch completed the 2011 season with a rush for 1,204 yards and 12 goals, both his best career and his first post-1000 season posting since 2008. On December 1, against the Eagles, he was observed receiving Skittles from coaches to celebrate his tally. Fans then threw Skittles into the field after Lynch scored.
On November 6, against the Dallas Cowboys, Lynch has a 135-yard rush and touchdown. On 11 December, he made his best game of the season with 148 yards rushing and two goals rushed against the Philadelphia Eagles. On December 18, he set a franchise record for a game in a row with a touchdown by scoring in his tenth straight game. The previous record was nine approved by Shaun Alexander in 2005. Lynch led the NFL in a rush to line up over the last nine weeks of the season. On January 24, 2012, Lynch added to the NFC Pro Bowl list to replace the San Francisco 49ers running back, Frank Gore. In the second game of the season, Lynch had 122 yards rushing and touchdown rushing in a 27-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Seattle Seahawks finished with a 13-3 record and earned a first-round bye in the playoffs. In the division round against Saints New Orleans, he had a 140-yard rush and two goals rushed in a 23-15 win. In the NFC Championship against the San Francisco 49ers, he had a rushed 109 yards and a touchdown in a 23-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. On July 24, 2014, former Seahawks defender and good friend Michael Robinson announced in the NFL Network Training Camp that Lynch will hold Training Camp while he is awaiting a restructured contract from Seahawks. During his 3rd week against the Denver Broncos, he completed his first overtime drive by rushing for a touchdown, giving Seahawks a 26-20 victory over Denver in a Super Bowl XLVIII rematch. On November 2, against the Oakland Raiders, he has a 67-yard rush, two rushing touchdowns, and 76 receiving yards. In the next game against the New York Giants, he had a great performance with 140 yards that rocketed and four goals in a 38-17 victory. He scored a total of 24 points in the game, tied with Jonas Gray for the most by any player in a single game in the 2014 season. He continued his successful series of 124 meters rushing against the Kansas City Chief in a loss the following week.
Lynch made a 79-mile long journey throughout his career against Arizona Cardinals on Sunday 16, similar to his "Beast Quake" scoring 67 yards in the Wild Card game 2011 against the New Orleans Saints. Four days later, Lynch was fined $ 11,050 by NFL for his scoring celebrations; falling back while holding out the ball behind his head and reaching for his crotch. The League considers its celebration a "lewd movement" to form unsportsmanlike behavior.

Lynch made headlines on Super Bowl XLIX Media Day on January 27, 2015, when she held a 5-minute press conference, just answering "I'm here so I will not be fined" for any questions. He has a history of unwillingness to talk to the media.
At Super Bowl XLIX, Lynch has 24 carry for 102 yards and touchdown. He also has a catch for 31 yards. The Seahawks lost the Super Bowl 28-24 to the New England Patriots because they failed to repeat as champions. In Seattle's last game of the game, Seahawks opted to pass the ball on the 1-yard line instead of running it with Lynch, and the bait was intercepted. Lynch seemed annoyed by the decision and left the Seahawks locker room without speaking to the media. He stated in a later interview with Conan O'Brien that he "expects the ball" before playing. 2015 season

In early April 2017, after sitting in the 2016 NFL season, Lynch reportedly agreed to agree with his hometown of Oakland Raiders and that the Seahawks, who retained their rights even after retirement, would exchange it. Lynch said he was inspired to get out of retirement by a team's upcoming move to Las Vegas saying that he wants kids now grown in Oakland to be able to see his own home football play for the Raiders before the team goes.

On April 26, 2017, Lynch officially passed physically and traded to the Oakland Raiders along with the sixth draft draft in Seattle for Oakland's fifth round selection in the 2018 NFL draft. Lynch then signed a two-year, $ 9 million contract with a maximum of up to $ 16.5 million. The contract has a $ 2 million bonus if Lynch reaches 1,000 yards rushing for the season.

Lynch has several brothers who also play professional football. His cousin is a wide receiver Robert Jordan, who played alongside Lynch at Cal from 2004-2006, former Oakland Raiders substitute JaMarcus Russell, midfielder Josh Johnson. Uncle Lynch, Lorenzo Lynch, has an eleven-year career in the NFL.
Lynch has referred to himself as "animal mode" during the game, but it is also a nickname that has been used frequently since his college career at Cal (UC Berkeley).
While in Buffalo, Lynch embraced the Buffalo community, in sharp contrast to former Bills re-run Willis McGahee, as recorded in an interview with ESPN's Kenny Mayne. In a video interview, which has become an internet sensation, Lynch talks about her love for Applebee, and her teammates joke that she loves a chain restaurant. Legal issues
In June 2008, Lynch pleaded guilty to charges of hit-and-run and revoked his driving license. Lynch drove the 2008 Porsche Cayenne at 3:30 am through the Buffalo bar district when he hit a woman on the street and failed to stop. When asked, Lynch stated, "I do not know my car bumps into anyone or anything."
Lynch was arrested on July 14, 2012, by the California Highway Patrol for DUI after he was observed driving irregularly. He is reported to have registered 0.10 on the Breathalyzer at the County Sheriff County Alameda Jail Office in Oakland. He was jailed a few hours before hosting a youth soccer camp. The motion to close the case was rejected in November 2013, but in December the date of the hearing was rejected until after the NFL season. Lynch's lawyer, Ivan Golde, accused the police of bending the truth and changing the story to try to punish Lynch. The case was settled in February 2014 when Lynch pleaded guilty to charges of reckless driving. Lynch is known for being reluctant to talk to the media. The video became viral, widely covered in the media, and garnered about 8 million views before the Super Bowl.
One week before Seattle Seahawks first pre-season game of 2015, it was announced that Lynch will appear on the premiere Season 7 episode of FX's The League , as he did on September 9, 2015. It was the same day, Entertainment Weekly released a video clip of a cameo appearance in which Lynch contended to one of the show's main characters that he was "so close" to other characters he could "just run [beer] onto him" instead of throwing it, a reference to mocking the last drama famous from Super Bowl XLIX.
She plays her spoof in Brooklyn Nine Nine season 4 episode "The Fugitive Part 1." He was around the escape of the inmates, though he did not really see the crime and spent all the time discussing his pico de gallo.
Beast Mode
Lynch is known for its Beast Mode brand that includes clothing lines, retail stores, and at least one partnership with International brands. The first Beast Mode store opened in Oakland, California on February 7, 2016, during the Super Bowl 50. On April 8, 2015, rapper Ludacris released a video for the single "Beast Mode," named Lynch, which appeared in the video.
