Legal career
Goldman is a plaintiff's lawyer at Krumme vs. Mercury , a 2002 lawsuit in California. Both the California court and the Court of Appeal found for plaintiffs that insurance companies misinterpreted agents as independent brokers. The court upholds damages and attorneys' fees. The insurance industry journal has described the case as "famous". Goldman also represents the plaintiff in a lawsuit filed in San Francisco Superior Court against Auto Insurance Specialist accusing the company of paying the sale money to the insurance company in return for a commission.
The Norman Goldman Show
He held a talk show on Saturday morning, The Norman Invasion, at KLSX (97.1) in Los Angeles in 2004. The show lasted from July 17 to October 30, 2004. Goldman later became a legal commentator at The Ed Schultz Show . At the end of summer 2009, Goldman began broadcasting its own weekly program via internet broadcasts and podcasts. The Norman Goldman Show takes place from 3-6 pm Pacific time. Goldman took several stations after Air America's death in 2010, when Ron Reagan chose not to resume PT 3-6PM event after network closure. Based in Los Angeles, Goldman's national radio program is distributed by Compass Media Networks.
The motto of the program is "Where justice is served", but Norman air also uses the motto "The place where liberty is fierce is the norm", a pun on its first name. The show uses an opening riff for Canadian rock band Rush's "The Spirit of Radio" as its intron.
Goldman recently created a "four-point plan to save America", after punishing politicians such as President Barack Obama for betraying their campaign promises. This includes power transparency; "WikiLeaks for radio", and grass-roots quarterback for coordinating/funding messages and progressive viewpoints.
