Priscilla Lord (born June 21, 1942) is an American lawyer and Democrat politician. He is a candidate for Democratic nomination in the 2008 US Senator Minnesota election.

Biography
God was born in Minneapolis to Miles and Maxine Lord. His father would then serve as Minnesota Attorney General from 1955 to 1960 and later as Chief Judge, United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and as US Attorney. His late brother, Jim Lord, served as state senator and State Treasurer (1975-1983). God is currently the Managing Partner of Lord Heinlein Law Office.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota, he worked for Hubert Humphrey, Senator and Young Life before teaching the third grade and special education. He worked in real estate investment for ten years, and once sat at Sunfish Lake City Council.
Lord, who obtained his law degree from Hamline University, opened his own practice as a personal injury lawyer in 1993. In 2006 and 2007, he was named Minnesota Super Lawyer by Minnesota Law & Political.
In July 2008, he announced that he would challenge Al Franken, who had been backed by the country's Labor-Democrat Party, for party nomination in the US Senate election. He lost 9 September primary.
Lord married Wayne Faris, with whom he had three children. His teenage son, Wayne Faris, Jr. was killed by a drunk driver in 1989, after which he spent two years lobbying for MADD and advocating social host law.
