Tamara Taylor (born September 27, 1970) is a Canadian actress. He appeared in the role of Dr. Camille Saroyan, head of the Forensic Division, in Forensic Criminal drama Bones .

Personal life
Taylor was born in Toronto to Canadian Canadian father and a Scottish Canadian mother. She dropped out of high school to try modeling and see the world, with her mother supporting her decision: "Schools will always be there, she told me."
Taylor is the second cousin to Neve Campbell by marriage, with whom she appears in the Party of Five . Taylor married lawyer Miles Cooley in 2007 but the couple divorced in May 2012.

Taylor has made guest appearances on NCIS , Numb3rs , Missing , CSI: Miami , No Imprint , Party Five and Dawson's Creek . In his film debut, Senseless , he plays Marlon Wayan's love interest. She plays Debrah Simmons in the 2005 romantic comedy film Diary of the Mad Black Woman, a friend of Halle Berry in Introducing Dorothy Dandridge and has a brief role in Serenity , the concluding film of the TV serial Firefly by Joss Whedon. Through his share of Serenity, Taylor was able to audition for performances with actor David Boreanaz, who previously worked with Whedon on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. She also appeared on the TV series Lost , as ex-boyfriend Michael and mother of Walt.
He first appeared in Bones in the first episode of the second season, "The Titan on the Tracks," describing the character of Dr. Camille Saroyan. In the first six episodes of the season, he is credited as a guest star because creator and writer Hart Hanson had planned to kill him in episode twelve when Howard Epps, a recurring serial killer, poisoned him, to create more tension and drama between the two main characters. However, the response to his character was so strong that the authors offered him a position as a recurring routine in the show. So, since episode 7, "The Girl with the Curl," she has been credited as the main character of the series and appears in the title sequence.
