Carson W. "Bill" Beck is a Tennessee politician who sits at the Tennessee House of Representatives representing District 51, which is made up of parts of Davidson County. The 51st district includes Old Hickory, Madison, Inglewood, East Nashville, Downtown, The Gulch, Germantown, Salemtown, and other neighborhoods. Beck's representative is a member of the Tennessee Democratic Party.

Early life and education
Beck's representative attended Belmont College where he received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, in 1985. Beck's representatives then attended the Nashville School of Law, where he received his Doctor of Law Science degree, in 1989.

Political career
During Democratic primary elections in 2014, Representative Beck won with 41.1% over Jennifer Buck Wallace with 34.6% and Stephen Fotopulos with 24.3%. In the election, Beck's Representative won with 71.8% of the vote that destroyed his Republican challenger Brian L. Mason, who received only 28.2% of the vote.
April 2015 DUI Capture
The video capture of DUI Bill Regre April 2015 was released after the DUI indictment was dismissed during a hearing scheduled in July 2015. Along with suspected driving under influence, Beck is also accused of violating the state's implied permit law. The arresting officer allegedly saw Beck driving "with the left tire entirely on the central turning track." The clerk said Beck's eyes were red and watery, that he smelled of alcohol and that his speech was "very lisp." Beck denied consuming alcohol and the charges were dismissed; July 2015.
