The United States Attorney for the Central District of Florida is the United States Attorney who is responsible for representing the federal government in the United States District Court for the Central District of Florida. US Attorneys for the Central District of Florida have offices in Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Ocala, Orlando, and Tampa.

Earlier, United States Attorney General for Central Florida District James Klindt accepted this position after the resignation of US Attorney Paul Perez in March 2007. Perez was appointed to a position in March 2002 by President George W. Bush. Although Perez resigned after dismissal of the US lawyer controversy, he stated that his resignation was not related to an ongoing investigation around US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.

A. Lee Bentley, III is the current US Attorney. On June 9, 2010, Robert E O'Neill was nominated by President Barack Obama to become the next US Attorney for the Central District of Florida and then inaugurated on 5 October 2010. O'Neill previously served as a temporary US Attorney for the Central District of Florida and was responsible for Criminal Division for District. The previous US lawyer for the Central District of Florida was A. Brian Albritton, who was appointed by President George W. Bush and was inaugurated on October 15, 2008. Charles R. Wilson served as US Attorney for the Central District of Florida from 1994 until his appointment to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in 1999.
